The faxes are in, and the Maryland football team has to be feeling good about its recruiting class. Coach Randy Edsall and Co. snagged commitments from all three of the players were undecided heading into National Signing Day:
It’s Maryland for Jacquille Veii (Brandon Parker/The Washington Post)
— Avalon’s Jacquille Veii spurned a late push by Nebraska to stick with Maryland.
— Suitland All-Met wide receiver Taivon Jacobs switched his allegiance from Ohio State to Maryland. See video below:
— Friendship Collegiate DE-LB Yannick Ngakoue picked Maryland over South Carolina and Florida State.
Plus, Derwin Gray picked Maryland, too. The 247sports.com composite recruiting rankings now have Maryland’s class at No. 34 in the country.
