Terps to wear ‘White Ops’ jerseys vs. North Carolina

The Maryland men’s basketball team will trot out special snow-themed uniforms for Wednesday Senior Night game against North Carolina. Well, not officially snow-themed. But given the impending blizzard, these will suffice. Under Armour calls them “White Ops,” so if the Terps need to camouflage themselves against the snowbanks for whatever reason, Kevin Plank has them covered.

Evidently, the “national championship star is also included on the uni, but only visible to the players as a reminder of the team’s legacy.” You mean that red star right there? That one I can see?

As for the shoes, they’re built with some fancy Under Armour cushioning to “give players more bounce so they are attack-ready on the court.” Says nothing about defense.
