Video: Maryland athletics spotlights Stefon Diggs

The Maryland athletics department put together this video profile of Stefon Diggs, who just happened to be named as a 75-to-1 Heisman Trophy dark horse in the latest Sports Illustrated, too.

It’s mostly highlights of Diggs doing typical Diggs stuff, like making tacklers look like they’re hugging themselves, and offensive coordinator Mike Locksley talking about Diggs’s progress since arriving in College Park. (Locksley calls Diggs the most competitive athlete he’s ever coached, and that’s easy to believe.) Some old prep plays from his Good Counsel days are in there, too, so you can say you saw him when.

The Terps scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Byrd Stadium. It’s open to the public with an autograph session after. The last time Maryland had a Diggs autograph session, the line of fans snaked the full width of the field.
