The Maryland basketball team will host a one-hour open practice on Saturday morning starting at 10 a.m. at Comcast Center, more than five hours before the football team kicks off against Virginia just across campus at Byrd Stadium.

The practice is open to fans, who can enter through Gate E. According to a news release, Coach Mark Turgeon and select players will be made available to reporters afterwards.

The Terrapins open their 2013-14 season on Nov. 8 against Connecticut at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. They host Catholic for a preseason scrimmage on Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. and are expected to host an open instrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 26, three hours before the football team hosts Clemson. Both the football and scrimmage game times have not yet been announced.

Football parking passes will work at Comcast Center for the open practice, and Terrapin Trail Garage will be open for $15.
