From the Department of Way Too Early News comes the Maryland football team’s Big Ten schedules for the 2018 and 2019 season, finally filling in the previously unknown dates for the next six years.

Some interesting things of note:

>> In 2018, Maryland will play its three nonconference games, take a bye week, then plunge into all nine conference games without a week off, the only Big Ten team with that many consecutive conference games in either 2018 or 2019.

>> In 2019, the Terrapins will open against Bowling Green, immediately go into a bye week, then play nine straight games before one more bye week precedes their home finale against Nebraska. After consecutive games against Michigan and Ohio State, that week off before the Huskers come to College Park will likely be welcome.
