Video: Terrapins sing ‘Jingle Bell Rock’

This video played during halftime Saturday afternoon, when the Maryland men’s basketball team was busy getting jingle-bell-rocked by Boston University and wound up losing by six points. It wasn’t exactly the most appropriate time for holiday festivities, but luckily it’s now on YouTube for everyone to see.

Jonathan Graham’s got some pipes. Shaq Cleare’s got a sultry baritone. Others chose to deadpan their way through the holiday spirit. And then there’s two minutes of outtakes, including Nick Faust sounding like Alvin the Chipmunk and the best quote Jake Layman has said all season: “I wonder where Jingle Bell Square actually is.”
