Terps hoops to debut ‘Maryland Heritage’ uniforms vs. Notre Dame

The unveiling of latest iteration from the Kevin Plank Catalog — Wednesday night’s game against Notre Dame — comes at an unfortunate time for the Maryland men’s basketball team, given that the Terrapins have lost two straight ACC games by 44 combined points, but these sorts of things are planned long before the season begins, so it’s still happening rain or shine or blowout or whatever, so save your “less jerseys more winning” complaints.

Behold, the “Maryland Heritage” uniforms, white in color but filled with faded text like “2002,” “College” and, as Steinz points out, “Rapins.” The shoes contain similar history lessons and, according to a press release, should henceforth be referred to as “Custom Maryland Heritage UA Spawn Anatomix footwear.”
