Maryland quarterback C.J. Brown rocked a pair of red pants and a blazer during Day 2 of the Big Ten Media Days, but excluding that surprising ensemble, there was very little that was flashy about the Terps’ first appearance at the event in Chicago.

Reporters seemed intrigued with the potential on the field from Brown. Jeremiah Johnson spoke at length about the depth in the secondary and the high ceiling of a veteran defense. And after he answered countless questions about his healed broken leg, junior wide receiver Stefon Diggs took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon after it was all over, expressing relief:

Maryland Coach Randy Edsall had to be relieved, too, that he and his staff could finally turn their attention to fall camp. Edsall is expected to make an appearance at ESPN later this week, while Brown will be wrapping up his internship at Under Armour in Baltimore.
