It has been nearly three weeks since Maryland basketball’s Jaylen Brantley and Jared Nickens ignited a social media craze with a series of videos of the two players dancing to the 90’s hit “My Boo.” The hoopla continued in earnest when both players flew to California on Sunday to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

At the forefront of the appearance will be the role Brantley and Nickens have played in establishing The Running Man Challenge with their viral homemade videos, which eventually went mainstream and have inspired a wave of similar videos across the sports world and beyond.

Maryland announced that Brantley and Nickens taped their appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday afternoon in Burbank, Calif., where both showed up in Maryland attire at Lot 1 at Warner Bros. Studios and tweeted out reactions to being on set.
