The last few months have marked a noticeable shift in Clintonworld: Chelsea Clinton has emerged as the gatekeeper to her father's political legacy and her mother's political prospects.

"What we are seeing with Chelsea taking a larger role is more symbolic than anything else," said WaPo political reporter (and longtime Clinton watcher) Jason Horowitz in an interview for Post TV's "In Play" show. "It's showing that the problem of the old Bill Clinton associates...that that's kind of over, that she is here to clean up the ship a little bit or at least signal that the ship is being cleaned up."
