Sunday show roundup: The standoffs continue

As the government shutdown reached its sixth day, lawmakers appearing on the Sunday shows offered no new signs that a resolution is within reach. Meanwhile, with the nation set to reach its borrowing limit later this month, talk about the standoff over the debt ceiling ramped up. But like the shutdown, neither Democrats nor Republicans budged from their positions.
