That's Steve Grossman, second from the right.  He's running for the Democratic nomination for governor.  He was also in the midst of passing a kidney stone as he debated his rivals for the nomination on Tuesday night.  According to a Grossman spokeswoman quoted by the Boston Globe, his "pain-level was a 10 on a scale of 1-to-10...and yet he fervently answered questions on everything from transgender rights and mandatory sex education to issues facing youth and aging members of the LGBTQ community."

Grossman's kidney stone trial has inspired a Twitter feed -- love the Internet! You can follow it @grossmansstone.
