When you're an independent candidate for major statewide office, you need all the help you can get. And venture capitalist Jeff McCormick, despite investing $1 million of his own money in his campaign for Massachusetts governor, is polling in the low single digits.
So now, he's enlisting some big-name help for his final push: Nelson Mandela and Morgan Freeman.
Or, more accurately, video footage of Nelson Mandela and a Morgan Freeman impersonator — a Morgan Freeman impersonator who brazenly suggests that McCormick's business success is the fulfillment of a Mandela quote about doing the impossible.
Also, is it just us, or does "Morgan Freeman" have a bit of a British accent?
