South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham  went on the Sunday shows this past weekend to talk about a recently-released report from the House Intelligence Committee. The Republican-led group decided that the Obama administration responded to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya as they should have, and that there was no intelligence failure.

Graham did not agree, telling CNN's "State of the Union" host Gloria Borger, "I think the report is full of crap."

It may be surprising given the rhetorical inventiveness of this insult, but the same thing has been said of a nearly endless number of things in American politics, at least the kind of political things that get discussed at great length on cable television.

Here is a sample. The Benghazi report will probably not be pleased that the person who consigned it to the "crap" corner will also be keeping it company there.

For more fun, here's an abridged list of the many things Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity thinks are full of crap.
