Wisconsin was once known as a bastion of bipartisanship. The state's 12 governors before the 2010 election were split right down the middle: six Democrats and six Republicans. Then Scott Walker got elected governor in 2010, banned collective bargaining rights for public employees and Wisconsin blew up.
That's the subject of the fifth "Postcard from the Great Divide," a documentary series we have been running all week on The Fix. This doc, which was produced by Brad Lichtenstein, follows two state legislators -- a Democrat and a Republican -- as they try to bridge the partisan gap that has emerged in their state.
