The U.S. is minutes away from facing off against Germany in the 2014 World Cup, and overzealous fans are taking to Twitter to display their total ignorance of the other team. Per Topsy, a Twitter analytics tool, more than 1,000 tweets have been sent with the word “Nazis” in the past hour, a significant spike over the average use of the word.
