Well, that was fast. Apple's Web site now says all models of the Apple Watch are expected to ship in "June" -- an indication that the company's entire initial stock sold out in about six hours.

The company had indicated that it expected high demand for the Watch, which it is only selling online for the time being. In a press release Thursday, Apple's retail head Angela Ahrendts said the company expected "strong customer demand will exceed our supply at launch."

You can still buy the Watch, of course, but you'll have to be pretty patient.

In the meantime, anyone can try out any model of the Watch in Apple stores and other select retailers around the world. The company will begin showing off the device in stores Friday -- even if you can't actually walk out with one.
