It's May the fourth -- and that can only mean "Star Wars" Day. Conveniently, Vanity Fair treated fans to a behind-the-scenes peek at the upcoming sequel to the the beloved space opera. Here's photographer Annie Leibovitz taking pictures on the set of the film directed by J.J. Abrams:

The accompanying photo gallery also gave a few more details about the new cast's roles. As long suspected, Adam Driver (whom you may recall as Lena Dunham's on-again, off-again boyfriend on HBO's "Girls") will be villain Kylo Ren -- presumably the one with that questionably designed lightsaber. And Lupita Nyong’o may not be actually be recognizable in the film because she'll be transformed via the use of CGI into a "pirate," Maz Kanata.

Heroine Rey, played by Daisy Ridely, still conspicuously lacks a last name, but fans have been speculating for some time now that she may be a Skywalker or a Solo.
