The Syrian Electronic Army appears to have struck again.
"The situation has been resolved and no customer information was impacted,” said Prakash in a statement.
The roughly 30-minute disruption occurred when hackers infiltrated a Washington Post content-delivery partner. That provider, Instart Logic, is currently investigating the break-in.
This isn't the first time an attack like this has occurred. In 2013, the SEA took aim at a handful of news organizations — including the Post — by leveraging a flaw in a third-party plugin that recommends related content to readers.
