For Daniel Taylor, jail was no alibi

The Center on Wrongful Convictions has the story of Daniel Taylor, who was inexplicably convicted of a double murder and sentenced to life in prison despite the fact that he was in jail at the time the murders occurred. The case also includes a wrongful conviction and prosecutors who withheld exculpatory evidence.

Radley Balko blogs about criminal justice, the drug war and civil liberties for The Washington Post. He is the author of the book "Rise of the Warrior Cop: The Militarization of America's Police Forces."
