“PHILADELPHIA BACON CREAM CHEESE SPREAD IS NOT KOSHER”

From OK Kosher Certification:

PHILADELPHIA BACON CREAM CHEESE SPREAD IS NOT KOSHER

Please be advised that Kraft Foods will be coming out with a new product:
PHILADELPHIA BACON CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
(Kraft Foods – Northfield, IL)
This product is not kosher certified.
It contains actual bacon and does NOT carry a kosher symbol on the package

Thanks for the warning! (The rest of the item does contain less obvious information, which is that some other Philadelphia cream cheese products are losing their certification as well.) Thanks also to Rabbi Dov Fischer for the pointer.

UPDATE [July 2, 2014]: The other Philadelphia cream cheese products have regained their kosher certification. The bacon cream cheese spread, unsurprisingly, has not.
