Which means we’re getting more peeks than usual into the homes of the people who populate our screens, particularly their kitchens. And of course we’re curious — just like we can’t resist scouring our colleagues’ homes during Zoom calls or checking out the wallpaper of TV folks broadcasting from their spare rooms.
So what’s in celebrities’ kitchens? Unsurprisingly, there’s a lot to covet.
“Witcher” star Henry Cavill’s “isolation loaf” might not be impressive, but his range — an Aga cooker, a British oven typically made of cast iron and often boasting five-figure price tags — sure is.
Sweet Wolf, Tristan Thompson. The NBA player also has good kitchen-organization game: Check the series of lidded glass canisters by the wall oven.
Looks like Ryan Seacrest is a big griller. We’re pretty sure the radio host’s rig is a Fisher and Paykel, with a built-in grill and a massive hood.
KitchenAid stand mixer
You might not get much in the way of culinary inspo from pop star Justin Bieber and his wife, model Hailey Baldwin, in this cooking video. (Yes, Justin, the pasta goes in the boiling water.) But their airy kitchen is well-equipped, kitted out with pricey pots and pans (we spy a Williams-Sonoma pot in the foreground) and a white KitchenAid stand mixer (in the right-hand corner of the screen), in case the couple gets a little more ambitious.
Actress and cookbook author Ayesha Curry coordinates her outfits with her black appliance, which she used with the pasta-making attachment (take that, Bieber!).
Wait, is “Never Have I Ever” creator (and sometimes Instagram food-content creator) Mindy Kaling on a budget? She opts for a far less expensive ($35) handheld KitchenAid model.
Our quarantine salt baes include British singer James Blunt, who keeps flaky Maldon sea salt around (it’s by his right elbow), and pop diva Mariah Carey, who maybe salts her pasta water (brava!) with Baleine.
The vintage-style model of this French brand is apparently the “it” accessory of this quarantine. “Dancing With the Stars” hoofer Derek Hough has a white one to match his modern kitchen (dig that pot-filler, too).
A turquoise one photo-bombing “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” star Lana Candor.
Actress-model Amber Heard’s patterned counter/backsplash situation is boho #goals, while Jason Derulo’s flashy red, metallic-flaked working surfaces are … an ’80s flashback.
