Since 2000, Resource Furniture has imported and distributed modern, space-saving furniture from European designers that are aimed at micro-units and small urban dwellings.
The company has showrooms in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Mexico and has now signed a long-term lease to be part of Eastbanc, Inc. and Jamestown L.P.’s Georgetown Renaissance property at 3340 Cady’s Alley NW. The grand opening of the store will be Monday.
Visitors to the 2,097-square-foot store will find Italian-made wall beds, bunk beds, freestanding sofa/wall-bed systems, closet and storage systems and workspace solutions. The store will carry sofas and sectionals, tables, seating and office furniture.
Cady’s Alley has become known as the Georgetown Design District since it features numerous home design retail stores such as Donghia, Baker Furniture, Calligaris, Circa Lighting, Boffi Georgetown and Waterworks.
