Trying to sell one house and buy another one simultaneously can be maddening enough. But Adam Levine is listing his homes on either coasts — in New York’s SoHo and Beverly Hills — while preparing for the 11th season as a coach on the NBC hit series “The Voice,” serving as longtime frontman for Maroon 5 and anticipating the birth of his first child.

Levine and his supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo listed the one-bedroom, 2,800-square-foot SoHo apartment for $5.5 million, and it quickly went under contract, according to

With their first child on the way, Levine and Prinsloo may have felt they’ve outgrown the apartment. In 2014, Levine converted three bedrooms into one large master suite.

Built in the early 1900s, the SoHo apartment is on a cobblestone street. The interior has exposed brick walls with arches and columns, 13-foot-high ceilings and large windows.

The master suite has a dressing area and walk-in closet and a hot tub. The kitchen has stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops.

The $5.5 million price includes the furnishings.

Besides being lead singer, Levine, 37, also writes songs and plays guitar for Maroon 5. The rock-pop band has won three Grammys — best new artist in 2004, best pop performance by a duo or group with vocals in 2005 for “This Love” and the same award in 2007 for “Makes Me Wonder.”

He has served as a judge/coach on the NBC talent show “The Voice” since 2011. Other judges/coaches for the show have included Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera.

Levine’s five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Beverly Hills is listed for $17.5 million, according to The home has sweeping views of Los Angeles as well as a swimming pool and a tennis court.
