While tourists in can view some of Fort Lauderdale’s most luxurious mansions from boats that traverse the canals and intercoastal waterway, a different perspective can be gained from the riverfront estate known as Casa Del Rio.

This 1.5-acre property includes 225 feet of waterfront property on the New River where the owners and their guests can watch boats while they relax in the midst of tropical gardens. The Florida estate includes a 70-foot boat slip, a salt-water swimming pool and spa and a tiki bar by the pool.

Casa Del Rio, recently listed at $4.9 million, is set to be auctioned without a minimum bid requirement.

The estate includes a main house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a guesthouse with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a boat house with one bedroom and one bathroom.

The main house has marble floors throughout the house, open floor plan and a great room with walls of glass overlooking the river. The great room includes a wet bar and is open to the kitchen. The master suite has two walk-in closets, a wet bar, a view of the river and a steam room in the luxury bathroom.

The auction will be held onsite on Dec. 9 at 11 a.m.
