After winning their first road game of the season in New Orleans, the Wizards will attempt to win consecutive games for the first time as they take on James Harden and the Houston Rockets.

According to sources, the Wizards balked on an opportunity last summer to acquire Harden, the league’s fifth-leading scorer. Harden wasn’t aware of the situation but said he wouldn’t use the snub for any extra motivation when the two teams met.

Jordan Crawford will get his second start at point guard after scoring a season-high 26 points and leading the Wizards to a 77-70 win over the Hornets. Bradley Beal has scored in double figures in his past five games, averaging 14.8 points over that stretch.
