John Wall was named Eastern Conference player of the week for the second time this season, and the third time in his career, after leading the Wizards to three consecutive wins without Nene. Wall averaged 25 points on 59.2 percent and 10.7 assists as the Wizards defeated Orlando, Toronto and Philadelphia to extend their season-long win streak to six games.

The Wizards will try to win seven straight games for the first time since January 2005 when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at Verizon Center. Bradley Beal scored a career-high 37 points but Wall missed a potential game-tying three-pointer as Memphis won the first matchup at FedEx Forum, 92-89 on Feb. 11.

Wall was limited to a season-low five points last month against the Grizzlies. Memphis made it a priority to slow down Wall after he scored a career-high 47 points against them on March 25, when the Wizards won, 107-94, at Verizon Center. That performance earned Wall his first Eastern Conference player of the week honor. Wall received another last November.

Kevin Seraphin will miss his fourth straight game with a sore right knee and Martell Webster will sit with a sore back. Seraphin hasn’t played since Feb. 22 in Cleveland and has been sidelined along with Nene. Webster missed two other games this season with a sprained ankle. He had two back surgeries while playing for Minnesota and needed surgery for an abdominal strain last season.
