The Washington Wizards will hold a 16-player summer league minicamp beginning Monday at Verizon Center. The group will practice through Thursday, and 12 players will be selected to the Wizards’ Las Vegas summer league team. Washington’s first game is scheduled for July 10.

First-round selection Kelly Oubre Jr., second-round pick Aaron White, veteran forward Damion James, veteran guard Toure’ Murry and former Maryland standout Dez Wells, who went undrafted last month, highlight the roster. James was at Wizards training camp last year and nearly made the team. Murry signed two 10-day contracts later in the season and appeared in four games.

Other notable names include former Wisconsin point guard Traevon Jackson and former Iona point guard Scott Machado. Former Dallas Mavericks guard Roddy Beaubois had been committed to playing summer league for the Wizards but will not join them.
