Bradley Beal has been fined $15,000 by the NBA for grabbing the throat of Evan Fournier during Friday’s Wizards-Magic game. The punishment was announced Sunday by the league’s head of basketball operations, Kiki Vandeweghe.

Beal could potentially have been called for a flagrant foul and even ejected from the game, but he wasn’t. He finished with 14 points, eight assists and two rebounds as the Wizards won, 94-91.
