New video shows final moments of Egyptian hot air balloon crash

A video that appeared on Youtube Tuesday afternoon shows the final moments of flight before an Egyptian hot air balloon plummeted to earth, killing 19 foreign tourists.

The shaky, handheld video was reportedly taken from another balloon and ran on at least one Arabic TV station. According to a Youtube commenter, the voices at the end are saying "in the name of God," and "there is no god but God" -- "the equivalent of an English speaker saying 'oh God, oh God, no, no.'" The video is not graphic, but could be upsetting to some.

Authorities have suspended hot air balloon flights in Luxor pending an investigation of the crash and the unexplained fire that proceeded it. Some have accused authorities of letting safety standards decline in the midst of Egypt's political and civil unrest.
