Tears and lamentations about a lost panda on the front page [“Death of newborn panda hits hard at National Zoo,” Sept. 24] and the death of a Marine relegated to Page A7 [“Marine’s actions described as heroic”]. A full-color picture of the Redskins on the front page above the fold [“Griffin, Redskins take a beating”] and the article about the Marine on an inside page. How misguided. How sad. Have you lost all sense of proportion?
