Regarding the April 7 Metro article “ ‘Officer down!’ Report details moments after deadly Md. crash”:

It seems too obvious to me: A bartender who serves a man nine or more drinks in one evening and then lets him drive away in his car, which is alleged to have happened before the death of Montgomery County police officer Noah Leotta, should be in jail along with the drunk driver. That person is just as much to blame.
