Our nation was overwhelmed by too many negative ads during the presidential campaign. What helped to clinch the deal for President Obama was the Romney campaign’s false suggestion that Chrysler planned to move jobs manufacturing Jeeps to China. It clearly backfired in Ohio and elsewhere.
It will be interesting to hear the Republican Party’s discussion of what went wrong. The party must look at what it has become and wishes to be. The future is not with the tea party.
