So Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-Va.) had her moment in the limelight when she suggested to President Trump that we didn’t need another government shutdown [“At White House meeting, Comstock rebukes Trump’s wish for a shutdown,” Metro, Feb. 7]. Given that she is vulnerable to a challenge in the upcoming 2018 election, she may want to give the appearance of inching toward the center. However, Ms. Comstock’s voting record tells the truth: She votes 97 percent of the time with Mr. Trump’s position on issues.
