The Feb. 23 Sunday Style article “For musicians, Stratocasters will never get old” was a fitting and timely tribute to the Fender Stratocaster, and it correctly pointed out that the guitar’s beauty as a physical object is a key element of its appeal. The article quoted Jeff Beck to support this point, and it was illustrated with a photo of Beck playing a guitar — a completely different guitar. Not only not a Stratocaster but also not even a Fender. This will not stand.

I realize that The Post ran a correction on this point, but something more is needed. On behalf of all Strat lovers, I ask The Post to print a replacement photograph.
