Regarding Thomas Boswell’s Dec. 5 Sports column, “Just like the fumble, it’s all falling into place”:
The Pittsburgh Steelers have their “Immaculate Reception,” and now the Washington Redskins have their own miraculous play to add to their storied history. When quarterback Robert Griffin III fumbled the ball after a spirited run deep into New York Giants territory last Monday night, it fluttered unerringly into the hands of nearby Redskins wide receiver Josh Morgan, who took it the rest of the way into the end zone for a touchdown. I believe a higher power directed the “Hallelujah Handoff.”
