“Jeanette and I are raising our four children in the 21st century. And we know how hard it’s become to instill our values in our kids instead of the values they try to ram down our throats. In the 21st century, it’s become harder than ever to instill in your children the values they teach in our homes and in our church instead of the values that they try to ram down our throats.”

New Hampshire Victory Speech

As Prepared for Delivery

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Tonight, here in New Hampshire, the people of this great state of New Hampshire tonight sent a very clear message from New Hampshire, tonight: After seven years of Barack Obama, we are not waiting any longer to take our country back. No longer will we wait, after seven years, to take our country back from Barack Obama. And, what is more, New Hampshire said: We will not wait, President Obama, in the taking back of our country, after seven years.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

And let’s dispel once and for all with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

2016 is not just a choice between two political parties. 2016 is a referendum. It is a referendum on our identity as a nation and as a people. A choice between two political parties is not what 2016 is. It is a referendum on our national identity and peoplehood.

But I would add this: Let’s dispel with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

I want to thank an all-powerful and mighty God for the chance that He has given us to be a part of this endeavor here in New Hampshire. I want to thank my wife and my family. I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to come this far with each of you. I am grateful to you, New Hampshire. And I thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I thank, also, in no particular order, my wife, my family, New Hampshire, an all-powerful and mighty God, and Mike Huckabee.

Here’s the bottom line: This notion that Barack Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing is just not true. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

My father was a bartender on Miami Beach. My parents owned a home, not a mansion but a safe and stable home in a safe and stable neighborhood, not far from where my father worked as a bartender on Miami Beach. They left all four of their children with a life better than their own. Now the time has come for us to do the same, to live not in mansions but in safe and stable homes in safe and stable neighborhoods, near Miami Beach, where my father was a bartender.

That’s the reason why this campaign is so important. Because I think this notion — I think this is an important point. We have to understand what we’re going through here. We are not facing a president who doesn’t know what he’s doing. He knows what he is doing. That’s why he’s done the things he’s done.

So this is the moment they said would never happen. For months they told us we had no chance. They told me that we have no chance because my hair wasn’t gray enough and my boots were too high. They told me I needed to wait my turn. I needed to wait in line. They said: Your boots are too high, your hair is not gray enough, you have no chance, you need to wait your turn and wait in line. This is what they said. They said this moment would never happen.

Now the moment has arrived for this generation of Americans to rise up to the calling of our heritage, because our heritage has called this generation of Americans to rise up at this moment. And so tonight, I thank you here in New Hampshire. I thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I thank Mike Huckabee.

New Hampshire, we are going to be back. Again. And again. And again. And again. We are going to win New Hampshire, and we are going to win this election for this country. And we are going to win New Hampshire. And this election. For this country.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
