Regarding Kay J. Moyer’s Feb. 15 Free for All letter, “Symbols from Russia’s past”:

The Post is giving Olympic results in real time, which is what we expect of a major news-gathering organization. It is NBC that is altering reality by bending the competition schedule to fit its broadcasting needs.

For example, the NBC public relations machine announced Saturday afternoon that it would not rebroadcast the U.S.-Russia hockey game until late Sunday afternoon. Would those complaining about “spoilers” have had The Post wait until Sunday night to inform its readers of the outcome?
