Regarding the Oct. 30 front-page article “Setback clouds tax bill’s release”:

Where were the editors when the reporters slipped in a description of Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Tex.) as “bare-pated”? What did that have to do with Brady’s role in the Republican tax overhaul? Wasn’t this a sexist statement, a pompous word choice and needlessly offensive?
