Many thanks to The Post for the insightful interview with Susan Stamberg [“At 74, still with that distinctive NPR voice,” Health, Feb. 19]. I have been a fan of Ms. Stamberg’s since she started with NPR. Her resonant and distinctive voice and descriptive narration, whether she is reading a favorite recipe, describing a holiday tradition or discussing world events, have always been a pleasure to hear. To me, Ms. Stamberg has always been a “Mother Earth” kind of woman. Through this interview, I discovered that we are the same age and share many of the same feelings on aging.
