The Dec. 24 news article “Biden praises Miguel Cardona as ‘a secretary of education for this moment’ ” stated that my organization, the Center for Education Reform, “promotes conservative school choice policies.”

Let’s be clear: Choice is not conservative. There’s nothing conservative about wanting to give kids opportunity and parents power.

On the contrary, education opportunity has been widely embraced by both Republicans and Democrats — including, at times, President-elect Joe Biden and The Post’s editorial page.

By drawing this false association, The Post does its readers a disservice.
