Regarding the April 18 editorial “Obamacare’s winning numbers”:

People are signing up for insurance on the Affordable Care Act’s exchanges because it’s the law of the land. They are complying with a law. How is that a victory? Perhaps a surge in numbers would be a victory if the Affordable Care Act were voluntary and people were choosing that over something else. I suppose it would be dull to write a headline that said, “Americans choose to comply with Obamacare mandates to avoid punitive fines,” but that’s really what is happening.
