I’m quite certain that, with more female senators in office than ever in our nation’s history, there will be more than one “open spot for a woman in the field” in the 2016 presidential election [“The long campaign is over. Get ready for the next!,” The Fix column, Nov. 8].
I hope that American women will share the message with Fix columnist Chris Cillizza that, even with a presidential run by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, all three well-qualified female candidates lumped together in his list (Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren) may decide to enter the race. Then we would have binders full of women candidates from which to choose.
