Regarding the Nov. 15 news article “President, GOP spar over Benghazi”:
Methinks President Obama protested too much at his news conference on Wednesday. His tetchy performance regarding U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice and her questionable description of what happened at the Benghazi compound should not stop brave reporters and congressional committees from pursing the truth about the decision-making surrounding this tragedy.
The president used the word “outrageous” regarding criticism of Ms. Rice. Outrageous, indeed, describes the lack of security at our diplomatic compound in Benghazi and our response to the Sept. 11 attack there that killed four American public servants.
