In your Aug. 14 Letters to the Editor column, you published two letters relating to Rep. Paul Ryan’s Catholicism. In his letter “A pick to energize Catholics”, Jack Corrado maintains that “The fact that Mr. Ryan is, in his own words, a ‘fervent Catholic’ should send a pretty clear signal to Democrats that Mr. Romney has found their Achilles’ heel, and that Mr. Ryan is the sharpest arrow in his quiver.” The “Catholic precepts are missing” letter from Thomas L. O’Connor points out that two bishops have written to Congress stating specific reasons for their serious concern about Ryan’s proposed budget.

You should have placed O’Connor’s letter immediately following Corrado’s.
