As a veteran of the “Mommy wars,” I want to thank Sally Quinn for articulating the discomfort of living in the post Friedan-Steinem world [“Once more into the work-vs.-home fray,” Style, March 15].

Equality happens when we can make work-life choices that are best for ourselves and our families free of comment or judgment from our sisters and brothers; our colleagues and co-workers; our friends and neighbors; and especially, our government.
