Teaching children about cancer

“Lung Cancer”? Couldn’t the title of the Nov. 11 Mini Page “Try ’n find” puzzle have been something like “Lung Health” instead?

Why not go all the way and include words like “chemotherapy,” “radiation” and perhaps “certain death” in the puzzle?

Lung cancer should not be the subject of a puzzle in KidsPost, especially when combined with the jokes about lungs that appeared immediately above. This is a much more serious subject.

After watching my husband die of lung cancer, I found this most inappropriate and disrespectful, as I am sure others did.
