The Washington Post - Pew Research Center poll

Question 1 of 1

In this poll:

Americans are noticing slumping gas prices, according to a new poll from the Washington Post and the Pew Research Center. But a key question lingers for the country’s economy still stuck in limbo: will gas money saved yield a fresh round of consumer spending?

This poll was conducted for The Washington Post and the Pew Research Center by telephone May 24 to 27, 2012, among a random national sample of 1,012 adults, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
