Americans have a far more muted reaction to the bombing than the 2001 terrorist attacks, with fewer following the story closely and saying the event disrupted their work or kept them from concentration on normal activities.
This poll was conducted for The Washington Post by telephone April 17 to 18, 2013 among a random national sample of 588 adults, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus five percentage points. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by SSRS of Media, Pa.
