This Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone April 29-May 2, 2013, among a random sample of 1,000 adults in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. The error margin is four points for the sample of 887 registered voters and five points for the sample of 663 likely gubernatorial election voters.
